I was asked to be part of an elite team of specialists in charge of additions, updates
and removals to the World-Check database of the Sanctions of the US Department of
Justice’s OFAC SDN and Non SDN lists.
My efficiency, problem solving skills, together with my integrity and ability
to work under pressure, gave me the opportunity to be part of this project.

I worked on the US Department of Justice’s sanctions, OFAC SDN and Non SDN lists.
I verified the information and performed necessary quality assurance checks.
I managed to move publications of 4000 targets forward within 24 hours,
coordinating teams in Costa Rica, South Africa and India to meet the agreed
deadlines.
I transferred to team members all the expertise I gathered for almost ten
years of experience with OFAC.
I answered to OFAC related queries from clients worldwide through email.

I was in charge of managing stats, creating strategies to address the database
turnaround.
I created this team from scratch and successfully ran it for a period of 4
years with a final number of 8 members.
I effectively managed and motivated the team, driving growth and retaining
top talent.
I designed an approach to review records faster so that we could meet the
goals, updating more than 300k records in half the time required.
When the Chile office did the handover to the Costa Rica office, the first
team to start producing was the one transferred by me.
I implemented project work methodologies to increase efficiency and
optimize the processes of the different teams.
