Job Summary
The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately inputting and maintaining various types of data into our systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced, remote environment. This position requires a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Data Entry:
Enter and update information into relevant databases accurately and promptly.
Review and verify data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities.
Maintain accurate records of all data entry activities.
Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Identify, report, and resolve any discrepancies or issues found during data entry or review processes.
Collaborate with team members to address and resolve data quality issues.
- Documentation and Reporting:
Generate and distribute regular reports based on data entered.
Assist in the preparation of data for presentations, reports, and other documents.
Maintain organized and accessible electronic filing systems.
Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure data accuracy.
Respond promptly to data inquiries and provide support as needed.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in data entry or a related field is preferred.
Skills
Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and data entry software.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods.
Manual dexterity for operating a computer and other office equipment.
Working Conditions
Remote work environment.
Standard work hours - 8AM-5PM Central - some overtime may be required during peak periods.
