Position: Chief of Staff

This pivotal role will directly report to our CEO and support our executive team in achieving our organizational goals aligned with our values. As Chief of Staff, you will be integral in internal and external communications, initiating and fostering relationships, and collaborating internally and externally to help achieve our goals.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
1. CEO Support:
· Support CEO and senior leadership in executing key business priorities and cross functional initiatives.
· Scope, plan, and execute multiple, often quick turnaround projects, with minimal assistance.
· Present ideas for special projects that may facilitate the CEO’s and leadership’s objectives. Oversee transfer and completion of certain projects to other internal stakeholders as needed.
· Follow up with CEO contacts and support the cultivation of CEO relationships and potential partnerships.
· Summarize information for CEO and senior leadership to ensure effective and efficient use of their time.
· Regularly liaise with senior leadership team to ensure all teams are aligned on priorities and needs.
2. Internal and External Communication:
· Coordinate with leadership team and internal stakeholders to ensure consistent communication.
· Represent the CEO in internal and external meetings independently and with other senior leaders.
· Assist in writing all-company emails on behalf of CEO, and other external communications, requiring strong writing and presentation-building skills.
· Coordinate with external communications consultants and/or internal staff on communications roadmap and execution.
· Build relationships throughout the organization and serve as a key information facilitator and communicator.
· Represent CEO across industry groups and coalitions to ensure the organization’s vision and values are represented appropriately.
· Ensure CEO’s time is leveraged most efficiently for all communications.
3. Key Meeting Coordination, Preparation, and Facilitation:
· Support leadership meetings and all staff meetings including agenda development, materials, and speaker preparedness. Ensure key meeting decisions are concisely documented, communicated, and action items are tracked through completion.
· Prepare the CEO for internal and external meetings (via concise briefing memos and/or verbal prep sessions).
· Ensure the timely generation of reports, presentations, and summaries for a variety of stakeholders, including coordinating with leadership on development of Board materials.
4. Administration/Other Duties:
· Responsible for the supervision and performance of the Executive Assistant to the leadership team, including calendaring, logistics, travel, communications, etc.
· Assist with prioritizing CEO commitments.
· Bring pertinent issues to the CEO’s attention in an organized, succinct manner.
· Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Education, Experience, and Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in relevant field with at least 10 years of experience. Preference to candidates with 5 years of experience in a similar position in the future of learning, education related impact investing, and/or EdTech field.
· Must be proactive, highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
· Excellent interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence.
· Ability to review large amounts of information and create clear and concise summaries.
· Capacity to interact with within all levels of the organization and stakeholders.
· Must be a proactive self-starter, anticipate needs, and self-direct.
· Ability to build strong sustainable relationships and balance multiple competing priorities.
· Analytical, solutions-oriented mindset and sound judgement and decision-making ability, with the ability to adapt to frequently changing business needs and priorities.
· Adept at event preparation and standing in for the CEO.
· Commitment to the mission and values of the organization, with a passion for driving social change.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
