Position: Financial Analyst
Reporting to: FP&A Manager
Supervises: N/A
Schedule: 35-hour work week, Monday through Friday
Location: Remote. In-person attendance is expected during our annual, weeklong all-staff summit. Additionally, participation for in-person meetings is expected at least once per year for most employees, at least once per quarter for senior leaders, and at least once per month for the executive team. Staff that are not in NYC are expected to travel for these meetings.
Compensation: $60,000-75,000 (this range is for the NYC area and will be adjusted for other localities; additionally, factors like skills and experience will be considered).

Position Summary
Candid is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will assist with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting as we navigate our next growth phase. The ideal candidate will understand the importance of knowing the story behind the numbers and have strong communication skills and an eye for detail. Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis: Support the FP&A Manager with analyzing financial statements, trends, and metrics to provide insights into company performance.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts; monitor and report on financial performance against these plans.
- Reporting: Support the FP&A Manager in creating and maintaining financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for the Executive Leadership Team and our Board.
- Systems Management and Maintenance: Assist in maintaining Candid’s budgeting, forecasting, and reporting system.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Build and maintain relationships with team members across the organization to assist the Finance Manager in ensuring alignment on financial goals and initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.
- Advanced Excel skills are essential; familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle PBCS, and Tableau is a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Willingness to perform other duties and special projects as needed/requested.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with solid presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with a can-do approach and ownership.
