POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for managing and implementing Sustainability-focused marketing initiatives, certifications, and Innovation/Renovation projects on the Garden of Life brand. Support team with on-going business tracking and management.
The preferred candidate will be within commutable distance to the Nestlé Health Science Headquarter location in Bridgewater, NJ , or our other hub locations in the NY Metro market, Chicago, IL, or Palm Beach, FL.
HIGHLIGHTED RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with Sustainability team within COE on key brand sustainability projects, including B-Corp renewal, Green-e, and 1% for the planet management.
- Partner with Brand Comms team on planning and execution of marketing programs related to sustainability partnerships and programs (eg. 4Ocean).
- Partner with Quality on updates to certifications and tracking of renewals/billing and other maintenance activities; support team on updates to labels/website due to changes in certifications.
- Support launch of sustainability related I&R projects, including packaging material changes.
- Build collaborative relationships with key cross-functional partners, including R&D, project management, supply chain, quality, procurement, legal, regulatory and medical affairs.
- Support team with on-going analysis and measurement of brand performance, including: consumption data analysis, shipment data tracking, and budget management across retail and product lines.
- Responsible for managing complex projects with diverse stakeholders. Key skills will be development and management of timelines, decision points, and stakeholder alignment. Must keep projects on track and on target.
- Assist on ad hoc strategic internal projects as needed (eg. SKU rationalization, bulk harmonization, packaging sustainability initiatives).
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 2+ years of professional experience in an operations, project management, or business capacity. A Master’s Degree would be considered in lieu of experience.
PREFERED SKILLS:
- Strong detail orientation to manage multiple complex workstreams at once.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and lead teams.
- Strong interpersonal/communications skills.
- Collaborative, strong team player.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Passion for sustainability and health/wellness is a plus.

The approximate pay range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
