As the Deputy Chief of Staff, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of Indeed's Marketplace Product & UX organization. Partnering with the Chief of Staff, EVP, and leadership team, you will help clarify and execute the organization's strategic vision. Your responsibilities will include fostering alignment across teams, optimizing operational processes, and ensuring seamless execution of the product strategy.

Responsibilities
- Develop a deep knowledge of the business and product strategy and translate complex concepts into clear, concise, and compelling narratives for various audiences.
- Create impactful presentations for executive leadership, external clients, and industry events, employing data visualization and storytelling techniques to communicate complex information and drive decision-making.
- Define and execute internal change management and communication strategies, ensuring alignment and clarity across all teams about leadership direction.
- Identify core problems or opportunities within business processes, utilizing in-depth data analysis, research, and interpretive thinking to understand root causes, impacts, and potential solutions.
- Develop and deploy solutions based on data-driven insights, partnering with relevant interested parties to drive successful outcomes.
- Give guidance to leadership by synthesizing information, conducting research, and presenting key takeaways in a clear and concise way.
- Manage projects and initiatives, big and small, and give support, guidance, and accountability for projects you don’t manage.
Skills/Competencies
- Proven experience in strategic or operational leadership roles, with 7+ years of experience.
- Demonstrated success in managing and developing high-performing teams, with at least 5 years of experience.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and present it clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, including executive leadership and external clients.
- Proven analytical skills, enabling the extraction of meaningful insights from complex datasets to aid decision-making and drive strategic initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in complex environments, navigating ambiguity and simplifying intricate problems and messages for enhanced clarity.
- Proficiency in creating engaging and impactful presentations tailored to various audiences, including executive leadership, external clients, and industry events.
- Ability to build and maintain excellent, collaborative relationships with colleagues, collaborators, and business partners at all levels of the organization.
