We are looking for a talented, motivated, personable, and adaptable Senior Accountant to help us continue to innovate and grow efficiently.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to help with day-to-day receivables and payables and month-end responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with a strong understanding of accounting principles. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in day-to-day AR functions including collections.
- Assist in day-to-day AP functions.
- Manage company EDI connections
- Perform semi-monthly bank reconciliations.
- Review and process credit card expense reports.
- Manage commission schedules.
- Manage Fixed Assets, deferred costs, and amortization schedules.
- Manage Amazon Vendor Central.
- Assist with month end financial closing tasks.
- Assist with audits.
- Undertake other ad-hoc assignments and responsibilities as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- EDI experience is a preferred
- CPG industry experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Concur, Salesforce, and ERP is a plus.
- Inventory purchase and cost accounting experience is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while managing multiple tasks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
