Job Summary
Assist in the completion of the internal auditing schedule by performing audit procedures under the direction of internal auditing staff and obtaining data and documentation needed to complete audit work. Provide complex administrative support to department, department manager and corporate officer.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assist on audit reviews to determine compliance with company policy and procedures. Areas of review may include review of accounts payable documentation for compliance with company policy and proper authorization; review of loan or claim files to ensure documentation is complete; review of reconciliation records to ensure completeness and approval per company policy; and reviewing reports for evidence of review and approval, in support of internal audits or SOX testing.
Type, edit, and proofread letters, memos, reports, quarterly Board Audit Committee materials, other presentation materials, and correspondence. May prepare from rough draft. Material is frequently confidential in nature and audience is executive management and the Board of Directors. Receive and prioritize incoming correspondence and phone calls. Respond to inquiries, including responding to routine requests for materials and information. Maintain confidential department records and files. Make travel arrangements; prepare agendas and appointment schedules and special event planning and coordinating.
Prepare complex trends, status or other reports, drawing data from a variety of sources within and outside the department. Compile, coordinate and prepare required departmental reports. May assist in the formulation of department budget, tracking actual to planned expenses and report variances; coordinate budget results with management. May prepare and issue cost allocation and charge back information to Corporate Accounting.
May write, design, format, test and maintain department web site utilizing a variety of web-authoring, graphics and multi-media software applications.
Participate in special projects as assigned.
Skills and Background You'll Need
Education: Associate's degree with additional college coursework or Bachelor's degree. Business or Accounting coursework preferred.
Experience: 3 years of advanced administrative experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities, or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.
Advanced knowledge of: MS Office Suite including word processing, spreadsheet and presentation applications; event/meeting agendas, scheduling and coordination; travel coordination; confidential records maintenance.

Please note - the salary range for this role is listed below. In addition to salary, our package includes incentive plan participation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits, as well as an initial PTO accrual of 164 hours per year. Employees also receive 11 paid holidays and 2 wellness days per year.
Salary Range:
23.80 - 31.61
