Role Overview:
The Sales Planner for Fragrances will be responsible for analyzing sales trends, forecasting performance, and supporting the execution of sales strategies across Dolce & Gabbana Beauty’s retailers locations. This role requires a blend of analytical expertise, creativity, and a deep understanding of the luxury beauty market to drive growth and ensure optimal inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Planning and Analysis:
- Analyze historical sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Develop accurate sales forecasts to support inventory planning and replenishment strategies for retailer accounts.
- Monitor sales performance across channels and provide actionable insights to the Key Account Manager.
- Inventory Management:
- Partner with supply chain and inventory teams to ensure optimal stock levels for retailer accounts.
- Identify and address stock discrepancies or shortages to minimize lost sales opportunities.
- Field Sales Support:
- Work closely with the Field Sales department to ensure alignment of sales goals, promotional activities, and merchandising strategies.
- Provide regular reporting and analysis to the Field Sales teams, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Reporting and Communication:
- Prepare detailed sales reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Maintain clear communication with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and operations, to align on sales initiatives and performance metrics.
- E-commerce Optimization:
- Collaborate with the e-commerce team to track online sales performance, monitor KPIs, and recommend improvements to enhance user experience and drive revenue.
- Assist in the planning and execution of promotional campaigns on the .com platform, ensuring alignment with overall sales objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in sales planning, preferably in the luxury beauty or retail industry.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
- A passion for the beauty industry and familiarity with luxury brands is a plus.
