At Vita Health, we want people to experience the process of starting mental health care as welcoming, simple, and efficient. As part of the Clinical Care Coordinator Team, this combines the love of helping people with the knowledge of accessing behavioral health care. You would be joining an action oriented problem solving team that ensures a best in class experience. The CC Team has the privilege of directly assisting people seeking care and their family members.
Qualifications:
- Relevant work experience within the mental healthcare industry
- Customer service or call center experience required
- Bilingual a plus
- Awareness of behavioral health therapy modalities, clinical licensure types, levels of care, processes, and terminology preferred
- Previous experience in the use of electronic medical records, multiple phone lines, and google office suite in a work setting preferred
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
- Professional Administrative Certificate of Excellence (PACE) or Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) a plus
Responsibilities
- Clearly communicate Vita Health services and offerings to patients, parents, and referrers by answering inbound call center lines and outreach to people inquiring about our services to help people quickly get access to care.
- Responds to inquiries via phone, text, email, and health record requests
- To create an optimal customer experience and to guide new patients through registration, scheduling, and rescheduling appointments.
- Assist clinicians with other scheduling and referral needs- Manage reminders as needed
- Ensure that a high percentage of referred patients are connected to care
- Be a superb listener, an empathic guide, and to help resolve any ambivalence that may come up when someone is contemplating making a change.
- Insurance Verification
- Collect copays, deductibles, coinsurance and past due balances prior to the patient being seen
- Maintains accuracy of insurance, patient billing, and contact information, by entering patient demographic and insurance information correctly into the computer system
- Documents all interactions with patients and providers across various mediums
- Acts as a liaison for patients with other internal and external organizational verticals (i.e. Clinical operations, business development, credentialing etc.)
- Compensation: $18-22 hr
