Essential Responsibilities
- Lead design of approximately 600 legacy STORES webpages for migration to cloud-based FedMall environment.
- Help ensure user interface/user experience (UI/UX) functional requirements, User Stories, and Use Cases are well-defined.
- Designs and builds web pages using a variety of graphics software applications, techniques, and tools.
- Designs and develops user interface features, site animation, and special-effects elements.
- Contributes to the design group's efforts to enhance the look and feel of the organization's online offerings.
- Create mock-ups and/or prototypes of the work for presentation and approval from both a design and functional requirements implementation perspective.
- Designs the website to support the organization's strategies and goals relative to external communications.
- Ensure all UI/UX is planned and developed in conformance with U.S. Access Board standards, described in D0D Manual 8400.01 Accessibility of Information and Communications Technology Section 3.6. Web and Software Developers, Paragraph 5.2., for Section 508.
- Support development of test cases and test scripts, and support test conductance for UI/UX system components.
- Contribute to updates and maintenance of architecture/schema and Data Flow Diagram as they relate to web interfaces.
Essential Required Experience & Skills
- Five (5) years of relevant experience
- Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority (e.g. International Webmasters Association (IWA) Certified Web Designer (CWD), Human Factors International (HFI) Certified Usability Analyst (CUA)).
- Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at time of proposal submission.
Educational Requirements
BS or BA or four (4) additional years of related experience.
