Description: We are a leading M&A advisory firm specializing in representing small and medium-sized business owners in the sale of their companies to private equity, strategic, and high-net-worth buyers. Our work requires creating compelling marketing materials to engage prospective buyers and facilitate direct conversations about potential transactions. We’re looking for a Freelance Graphic Designer to join our team on a flexible, variable-pay basis. If you have an eye for detail, a knack for turning numbers and spreadsheets into outstanding visual presentations, and a familiarity with business language, especially in mergers and acquisitions, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and format one-page teasers and 10-20 page Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs) for prospective buyers.
- Collaborate with our team to transform provided text, charts, and data into visually engaging presentations that tell the story of a business, highlighting its purpose, ownership, history, services, customers, and financial profile.
- Bring creativity to the design of charts, graphs, and other visual elements.
- Update CIMs with new content and data on a monthly or bi-monthly basis as needed.
- Deliver completed projects within 7 to 10 business days of receiving content.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in PowerPoint (required).
- Strong graphic design skills with the ability to create polished, professional materials.
- Understanding of business language; familiarity with mergers and acquisitions terminology is a plus.
- Ability to analyze and emphasize key data points in visual form.
- Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines in remote work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience designing marketing materials for finance, consulting, or M&A-related industries.
- Familiarity with creating presentations from spreadsheets and financial data.
What We Offer:
- A flexible, remote freelance position that allows you to work from anywhere.
- Variable pay based on experience and the volume of work, with deal flow influencing the amount of work required.
- An opportunity to work with a dynamic, growing team on projects that directly influence business transactions.
About the Role:
In 2023, we created more than two dozen CIMs and teasers, with most projects requiring new content creation or regular updates. We anticipate similar volume in the coming year, making this an exciting opportunity for a designer looking for consistent freelance work.
Timeline:
- Interviews: November
- Training: December
- Start Date: January
If you’re ready to bring stories to life through exceptional design and play a key role in the M&A process, we’d love to hear from you!
