At Flamenco Arts International, we want people to experience flamenco like never before. We’re a women-founded, San Francisco-based 501(c)(3) organization with roots in New York City and Spain. We create transformative, innovative experiences that both celebrate the legacy of flamenco and explore the possibilities of the art form. By combining unexpected technology with a diverse community of impassioned artists, our goal is to not only honor where flamenco came from – but also look to the future of where it is going.
Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Marketing/Social Media Manager to help build our community and grow our presence online through innovative marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify Our Target Audience: Conduct market research to identify key demographics and psychographics of potential supporters, donors, and beneficiaries.
- Create a Strategic Marketing Plan: Outline goals, strategies, and tactics for outreach, engagement, ticket sales, and fundraising.
- Build an Online Presence: Including monitoring website, newsletter, and social media profiles to enhance visibility and engagement.
- Content Strategy: Collaborate with our Digital Content Creators to produce impactful content.
- Community Engagement: Foster relationships with local businesses, other nonprofits, and community leaders to build partnerships and support.
- Metrics and Evaluation: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts and adjust strategies as needed.
- Sell tickets: Create, implement, and monitor effective promotional campaigns for events and performances.
Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred!
- Passion for the arts nonprofit world— love of dance, music, & flamenco is a plus!
- Creative, strategic thinker who is able to work collaboratively and independently.
- Experience in marketing and social media with a proven track record of getting results.
