Position Summary
The Senior Vice President of Sales & Business Development will drive sales growth as a hands-on, entrepreneurial leader. This role involves building and leading a small sales team, managing key accounts, and pursuing new business opportunities. As a key member of the Executive Leadership team, this individual will work closely with the CEO, engage with clients, and represent the company at industry events. Success in this role requires adaptability, a strong work ethic, and a deep understanding of the company's manufacturing capabilities.
What you'll do
- Drive revenue growth across multiple industry sectors.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans, emphasizing organic growth through lead generation and prospecting.
- Manage and coach the sales team to ensure top performance, including negotiation and customer care.
- Monitor and improve sales metrics, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and industry connections.
What you bring
- 10+ years in sales management within metal component manufacturing, including job shop experience.
- Proven track record in growing legacy revenue streams and capturing new business.
- Visionary leader with a hands-on approach, capable of building and motivating a high-performing team.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate across all levels in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused, positive, and committed to continuous improvement.
- Experience scaling businesses to $50M-$60M+
Education
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Master’s preferred.
