Lime is hiring a Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team! In this role, you will report into the Senior Manager, Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting and will play a critical role in supporting Lime’s global accounting and financial reporting functions.
You will prepare financial statements and footnotes included in the company’s periodic financial reporting and will own and continuously improve the end-to-end processes related to certain accounting topics.
You will partner with other internal groups to evaluate and address technical accounting matters related to complex transactions and business initiatives. You will develop, publish and maintain global accounting policies and procedures and will also assist with the tracking, assessment and implementation of new accounting pronouncements.

What you'll do:
- Assist in the preparation of periodic financial statements and footnotes, completion of disclosure checklists, and coordination with external auditors
- Perform monthly close activities for certain corporate accounting processes, including lease accounting
- Evaluate and understand complex transactions and business initiatives, research and apply complex accounting standards to those transactions, develop solutions to accounting issues, and effectively communicate the results to stakeholders
- Develop and maintain global accounting policies and procedures
- Monitor and research new accounting standards, summarize and communicate impacts, and spearhead process changes when necessary to comply with new requirements
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with other groups, including Shared Services Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Legal, SOX/Internal Audit, and Operations, to ensure compliance with US GAAP and global accounting policies.
- Drive continuous improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of corporate accounting processes
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA, or pursuing CPA certification
- 3+ years relevant professional experience, preferably in public accounting (Big Four) and/or with a public company
- Strong understanding of US GAAP principles and SOX internal control requirements
- Ability to conduct research, develop and document positions, and effectively communicate results to management, auditors, and non-accounting stakeholders
- Detail oriented, organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks
Preferred Experienced:
- Deep understanding and hands on experience with ASC 842 lease accounting
- Experience with NetSuite, Workiva, and/or Visual Lease
The anticipated salary range for this position is $74,000 - $100,000. Annual performance bonus, equity and benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, depending on the position offered. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the candidate’s location of residence, the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications. In addition to base salary, some roles may be eligible for a variable performance-bonus based on a combination of company performance, employee performance, and management discretion.
