We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. You will collaborate closely with the Director of FP&A to develop and implement comprehensive systems for financial planning, reporting, and analysis. Your expertise will be instrumental in influencing strategic business decisions and facilitating substantial growth within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in partnership with senior leadership to align financial objectives with overarching business strategies.
- Apply your advanced analytical abilities to dissect key business drivers and effectively communicate critical insights.
- Optimize business analytics through the implementation of sophisticated tools to enhance operational efficiency and generate actionable insights.
- Assist in the annual budgeting and planning cycles, as well as the quarterly forecasting processes for the organization.
- Conduct thorough analyses to elucidate variances across departments (e.g., Actual vs. Budget, Actual vs. LY).
- Create advanced revenue and project-based financial models.
- Prepare and present monthly operating review materials for senior leadership.
- Regularly update and maintain KPI and performance dashboards across all divisions.
- Ensure clarity and precision in presentations and documentation for senior management and board meetings.
- Proactively identify and suggest enhancements to planning and forecasting methodologies to boost overall effectiveness and communication.
Required Skills
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; an MBA is advantageous.
- 4-7 years of progressively responsible experience in financial analysis, with comprehensive expertise in corporate FP&A.
- Demonstrated proficiency in developing revenue models and performing project-based financial assessments.
- Expertise in financial modeling and decision-making tools (e.g., Tableau, Crystal Ball, Excel).
- Capacity to produce insightful variance analyses and effectively present findings to leadership.
- Experience in preparing quarterly board presentations and ensuring the accuracy of financial data.
- Strong comprehension of financial statements alongside advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Detail-oriented and highly analytical with excellent organizational capabilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, combined with a proactive and independent work ethic.
- Familiarity with GAAP accounting principles; experience in transaction advisory services or public accounting is a plus.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required; an MBA is preferred.
- 4-7 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, specializing in FP&A.
