Headquartered in Bellevue, Washington, Ascend Hospitality Group (AHG) delivers world-class hospitality and culinary experiences, with restaurant concepts in Washington, Oregon, and Utah, and is eager to find the perfect candidate for a Marketing Coordinator. Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Marketing Coordinator will hold primary responsibility for growing digital and online presence, as well as assisting to produce visual content for all of our brands. The perfect candidate is resourceful, self-driven, creative, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for providing key services across the AHG restaurant portfolio, including but not limited to:
DIGITAL & CREATIVE
· Assist in the creation and execution of specific brand marketing strategy, including, but not limited to, new campaigns with the goal of increasing website traction and conversion, as well as traditional and in-store marketing methods
· Ensure restaurant web presence is cohesive with branding and synergistic to in-restaurant guest experience through regularly monitoring website content, digital presence, and community reputation and response
· Regularly collaborate with management and administrative teams, and ensure each receives accurate information as pertains to upcoming marketing initiatives with adequate resources for proper promotion
· Maintain AHG’s brand marketing calendars that lists all Marketing activities by month, including strategy, proposed budget, planning, and execution of activations
· Evaluate and analyze marketing campaign performance and guest feedback, making recommendations for improvement and providing audience insight
· Maintain reputation management platforms for all brands and accounts, by monitoring, listening, and engaging with guests, and providing a weekly report to leadership.
· Maintain up-to-date and key information (such as location, contact information, etc.) for all brands across all digital presence
· Create and schedule compelling weekly/biweekly email newsletters from owned list platform to drive messaging and campaign awareness for all brands
· Assist in design of creative assets for digital and in-store campaigns, and assist with campaign management
· Coordinate content development cycle so it is executed in a timely manner to deliver for launch dates
· Coordinate receipt and response to donation requests, and work with internal teams to ensure fulfillment
OTHER
· General project coordination
· Assist with planning and coordination of in-restaurant special events
· Ideate, coordinate, and support photography/videography production/shoots
· Assist in administrative tasks as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications; or equivalent experience
· 1-3 years of relevant experience
· Resourceful, proactive, and eager to meet deadlines in a timely manner
· Creative mindset with the ability to think outside of the box to create eye-catching, engaging content that is in-line with brand goals and campaigns
· Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail, and able to thrive in both collaborative and independent working environments
· Demonstrates knowledge of the digital aspects of marketing such as social media, digital media, ad buying, website content, 3rd party web presence, email marketing platforms, and loyalty platforms.
