About the Role
Green Attic is hiring a Customer Service Representative to support our roofing and insulation customers, field crews, and office team.
This is a remote role, but it is not a generic call center job. We need someone with real phone-based customer service experience in construction, roofing, insulation, HVAC, restoration, remodeling, or another home services industry.
You will answer customer calls, confirm appointments, follow up on estimates, help schedule jobs, update CRM notes, and keep the roofing/insulation pipeline organized.
Responsibilities
Answer inbound calls from homeowners about roofing, insulation, scheduling, job updates, warranty questions, and service concerns.
Make outbound calls to confirm appointments, inspections, installations, follow-ups, and reschedules.
Help coordinate schedules between customers, project managers, crews, and the office team.
Follow up on estimates sent by the sales team.
Update CRM/job records with clear notes after calls, texts, and customer updates.
Help track job status, appointment details, permits, material updates, and open follow-ups.
Communicate customer notes, jobsite access details, scope details, and special instructions to the right team members.
Stay calm and professional when customers are stressed about leaks, delays, damage, weather, or job issues.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of phone-based customer service experience.
Minimum 1 year of experience working in construction, roofing, insulation, HVAC, restoration, remodeling, or another home services company.
Comfortable handling inbound and outbound calls.
Able to work during U.S. Central Time business hours.
Strong spoken and written English.
Clear and professional phone communication.
Spanish bilingual preferred.
Comfortable using CRM systems, email, Google Workspace, and basic office tools.
Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple calls, tasks, and follow-ups without losing details.
Stable internet connection and quiet remote workspace.
Nice to Have
Roofing or insulation experience.
Experience working with U.S.-based homeowners.
Experience using Jobber, HubSpot, ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, JobTread, or similar systems.
Experience with scheduling, dispatch, permits, material ordering, or project coordination.
Not a Fit If
Your experience is only in generic BPO, e-commerce, banking, telco, retail, or chat/email support.
You have never supported a construction or home services company by phone.
You have construction experience but no phone-based customer service experience.
You are not comfortable making outbound calls.
