JOB SUMMARY:
The Director of Sales will develop and maintain strong relationships with our prospective and current customers. Will work together with the VP of Sales and Marketing to develop marketing plans and pricing strategies. Works with our R&D teams and Operations to meet or exceed our customer’s expectations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Develop positive relationships with wholesale baking, snack food, and plant-based protein communities to generate and support Dakota MB product sales.
2. Assist Vice President Sales and Marketing to develop and implement marketing plans, budget volumes, and maintain margins.
3. Endeavors to meet sales objectives.
4. Directly interacts with corporate personnel:
- a. Innovation Manager
- b. Controller
- c. Production Planner
- d. Vice President of Operations
- e. Purchasing Manager
- f. Customer Service
5. Shall act as support, as necessary, in maintaining all company food safety objectives and the SQF Code.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or food/cereal science.
2. Minimum of 8 years selling ingredients and/or food products into the North American market. Experience with key account management.
3. Excellent interpersonal skills and good written and verbal communication skills.
4. Technical experience in bakery, coatings and snack finished product application preferred.
