Role Description
The Vice President of Marketing will lead all marketing, branding, and communications strategy across the agency’s athlete roster and business verticals. This role is responsible for driving athlete brand growth, securing partnership opportunities, and elevating Aura Sports Group’s market presence.
This is a full-time remote position with direct oversight of brand strategy, digital marketing, content, PR, and partnership activation. The VP will work closely with agents, athletes, and brand partners to execute high-impact campaigns that translate into measurable revenue and exposure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute marketing strategy across athlete portfolios and agency initiatives
- Identify and secure brand partnership opportunities for clients
- Oversee content, social media, and digital growth strategies for athletes and the agency as well as scale digital growth strategies that convert audience into monetizable brand opportunities
- Build and manage a high-performing marketing team and external partners
- Use data and analytics to drive decision-making and optimize campaign performance
- Collaborate with agents to align marketing strategies with contract and endorsement goals
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sports marketing, athlete branding, or agency-side representation
- Strong track record of executing revenue-generating marketing and partnership deals
- Deep understanding of the sports landscape, particularly football (NFL/NCAA preferred)
- Experience leading teams and managing high-level marketing operations
- Strong network across brands, media, and sponsorship channels
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
