Financial Analyst (Remote)
Harmer is partnering with a growing, tech-enabled services organization to hire a Financial Analyst to join its expanding finance team. This is a high-impact role supporting both finance leadership and operational stakeholders in a dynamic, data-driven environment.
The company operates at the intersection of technology, operations, and financial services, partnering with large, complex clients across the U.S. This is a fully remote opportunity with strong visibility and room for growth.
Responsibilities
- Support monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial analysis across business units
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
- Analyze financial results vs. plan and provide clear, actionable insights
- Partner with business leaders to understand performance drivers and trends
- Prepare reporting packages, variance analysis, and management commentary
- Contribute to development of financial models and reporting tools
- Assist with revenue, pricing, and expense analysis as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience, ideally including: Public accounting (audit or transaction services) AND FP&A or corporate finance experience
- Strong Excel skills and overall technical aptitude
- Polished communication skills with ability to interact across teams
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical mindset
- CPA or MBA is a plus
- Experience with financial systems or reporting tools is a plus
