Position Summary We are seeking a highly analytical and driven Private Equity M&A Analyst to join our execution team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the underwriting, due diligence, and execution of active transactions. You will work closely with the Managing Partner to evaluate proprietary deal flow, structure leveraged buyouts, and prepare institutional-grade materials for our capital partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Construct and manage complex, dynamic financial models, including LBOs, DCFs, and integrated three-statement operating models.
- Perform rigorous historical financial analysis, normalizing target company EBITDA and bridging cash-basis accounting to accrual standards.
- Conduct comprehensive market research, competitor analysis, and industry benchmarking to validate investment theses.
- Draft highly detailed Investment Committee (IC) memorandums, Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs), and executive summary teasers for Limited Partners.
- Facilitate the due diligence process by managing virtual data rooms, analyzing third-party reports (Quality of Earnings, legal, commercial), and synthesizing findings for senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of direct experience in Investment Banking, Big 4 Transaction Advisory Services (FDD / Valuations), or Corporate Development.
- Exceptional quantitative and financial modeling capabilities. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to build auditable, error-free models from scratch without reliance on templates.
- Strong command of US GAAP accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
- High degree of autonomy and the ability to manage multiple transaction workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to distill complex financial data into clear, actionable investment narratives.
