We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy, and supporting ongoing and upcoming projects. This opportunity is located in Erie, Colorado, and offers a chance to work with a dedicated team in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly documented.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and payments.
• Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Process payroll and ensure timely and accurate payments to employees.
• Assist with account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Monitor financial data to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage and organize financial records efficiently.
• Provide support for upcoming projects by preparing financial reports and analysis.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline bookkeeping processes and improve efficiency.
• A minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience with a focus on accuracy and detail.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online for managing financial tasks.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
• Experience with bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Ability to prepare accurate account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with accounting standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
