Role Description
We’re looking for someone who has actually built a spirits brand and knows how to get distribution deals done.
Música Tequila is growing, and we’re ready to expand into new U.S. markets—but we want to do it strategically with the right partners.
This is not a “consulting in theory” role—we’re looking for a doer with real experience opening distributor doors and closing deals.
What we need help with:
- Making warm introductions to distributors
- Helping us secure distribution partnerships
- Advising on which markets and partners to prioritize
- Sharing real-world insight from scaling a spirits brand
Bonus experience (highly valuable):
- Relationships with major retail chains (Total Wine, Specs, ABC, etc.)
- Experience placing brands in mid- to high-end bar and restaurant groups
- Understanding how to drive pull-through once distribution is secured
Priority markets (next 12 months):
Georgia, South Carolina, Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, DC, Texas, Louisiana
➡️ Then expanding to California, New Mexico, Arizona and the West Coast

:- Have helped grow a spirits brand (startup or emerging brand preferred)
- Have direct relationships with distributors
- Have personally helped secure distribution deals
- Understand what actually works (and what doesn’t) in the 3-tier system
-The new beyond beer distributor world, game plan players.
