Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Staff Accountant to support our internal accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong general ledger and full-cycle accounting experience who can take ownership of the books, ensure accuracy across all financial records, and help drive an efficient and scalable close process. The ideal candidate is highly organized, systems-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage full-cycle accounting processes across internal entities
- Maintain and oversee general ledger activity, including:
- Journal entries and accruals
- Account reconciliations
- Month-end and year-end close
- Lead and execute the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Perform detailed balance sheet and bank/credit card reconciliations
- Review and clean up historical accounting records and resolve discrepancies
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data across systems
- Support intercompany accounting and consolidations, where applicable
- Assist with system implementations, process improvements, and workflow optimization
- Partner with internal team members to improve accounting operations and reporting efficiency
- Document and maintain accounting policies and procedures
Desired Experience & Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3–6+ years of accounting experience (multi-entity or high-volume environment preferred)
- Strong general ledger and full-cycle accounting experience
- Proven ability to independently manage month-end close
- Advanced proficiency in accounting systems (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines consistently
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with Sage Intacct
- Experience with intercompany accounting and consolidations
- Background in high-volume bookkeeping or outsourced accounting environments
- Experience with process improvement and system implementation
- Experience reviewing work and establishing accounting best practices
