Insight Global is seeking an Executive Assistant for a direct hire opportunity in the Northern Virginia area. This resource will serve as the strategic partner to the Senior Vice President. You will be providing executive-level administrative, logistical, and project management support to ensure the SVP is aligned and prepared for each day. You will architect and manage the executive's calendar with Microsoft Outlook.
This role is primarily focused on enabling the effectiveness of the SVP of People, while also supporting alignment and coordination across functional areas led by senior leaders who oversee their own teams and operational support. The Executive Assistant ensures priorities are connected, leadership efforts are streamlined, and initiatives move forward with clarity and consistency.
The ideal candidate exercises sound judgment, maintains strict confidentiality, and operates with a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage high-volume email and message flow; draft, edit, and prepare communications on behalf of the executive.
- Summarize complex information into concise briefs and decision-ready materials.
- Serve as a filter and amplifier—elevating what matters and removing noise.
- Support messaging consistency across internal and external audiences.
- • Manage key relationships—including staff, Board members, partners, and external collaborators—ensuring timely, professional interactions.
- Maintain stakeholder maps, follow-up lists, and engagement rhythms for high-priority relationships.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion, diplomacy, and impeccable judgment.
- Coordinate complex domestic and international travel itineraries, logistics, and expense reconciliations.
- Oversee document management, digital organization, and system efficiency for the Executive Office.
- Manage special events, or key leadership gatherings as needed.
- Continuously assess and improve systems for workflow, communication, and organization.
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality, integrity, humility, and emotional intelligence.
- Partner with the executive to reinforce a culture of clarity, respect, accountability, and well-being.
- Demonstrate “daring leadership” behaviors—curiosity, grounded confidence, courage, and empathy.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 3-5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant
- Experience supporting HR, People and Culture or organizational leadership teams
- Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
- Familiarity with Zoom
- High level of attention to detail and proven record of managing a C-Suites calendar
- High emotional intelligence with ability to read situations and determine accurate solutions
- Operate day to day with minimal instruction
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Background in project management, operations, communications, or executive office operations.
- Familiarity with board governance structures and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience supporting multiple executives or a complex executive office environment.
- Familiar with HRIS systems
Salary: $70-$80k
