We are looking for a warm, personable, and confident individual to join our growing practice as an Optical Sales Specialist.
This is not just a retail job — you’ll be helping patients see and feel their best by guiding them through eyewear choices that fit their lifestyle, personality, and vision needs.
What You’ll Do
- Help patients choose frames that complement their style and face shape
- Recommend lens options based on lifestyle (work, screen time, driving, etc.)
- Confidently discuss pricing and value of different options
- Deliver an exceptional, friendly patient experience from start to finish
- Process orders, enter prescriptions, and ensure accurate billing and insurance calculations
- Work closely with our team to keep the office running smoothly
What We’re Looking For
- Naturally warm, friendly, and approachable personality
- Comfortable talking about pricing and making recommendations
- Strong communication skills (you can connect with anyone)
- Team player who supports coworkers and office flow
- Detail-oriented, especially with billing accuracy and order entry
- Comfortable using computer systems
- Strong basic math skills (ability to calculate totals, insurance breakdowns, and pricing accurately)
- Sales-minded with a genuine desire to help people
Experience
- Optical experience is a PLUS, but NOT required
