I’m not a salesperson—and I closed 6 of the 30 phone calls I've been on since we sent out 1 email on March 17th and got over 100 Leads. We are trying to keep the lead flow slow until we can build our team.
The Reality: I have never sold a product in my life. These were my first-ever sales calls. Despite having zero formal training, I closed 20% of our inbound leads at a $5,720 price point.
My wife is Montana Fouts, arguably the best arm in women’s fast pitch softball right now. She played at The University of Alabama, for Team USA, and Now for the Talons in the Professional league (the AUSL). She is the pinnacle for pitching for the young girls playing today.
How we will get our lead flow: With almost 200k highly passionate followers on IG, 30K on FB, 44.5k on X, 225k on Tic Tok, we don't have a hard time finding quality Leeds. Also not to mention, she has never posted consistently or produced a lot of value driven content in the past. We just recently invested in producing a floor of 40 pieces of value driven content per month. This is going to provide a great opportunity to grow our total audience and develop our ability to acquire more leads. We have over 7,000 previous customers. These are people who have purchased a camp ticket/tournament entry/merchandise from montana. We will have no problem getting leads.
The Opportunity: We are looking for a stone-cold Sales Leader to manage a virtual team of 3–5 hungry reps, hoping to scale as needed. We are currently closing at 20%on a $5,720 core offer.
We need a manager who can maintain that 20% efficiency while scaling the team's volume. This is a "Player-Coach" role for someone who wants to lead from the front, manage data-driven KPIs, and build a multi-million dollar sales division.
The Numbers (Transparency):
- Average Deal Size: $5,720
- Current Close Rate: 20% (Founder-led)
- Lead Flow: Already good, going to get better
- Base Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 (DOE)
- Personal Commission: 10% (Uncapped)
- Team Override: 3% of Total Team Revenue
- Expected OTE: $180,000 – $220,000+ (Year 1)
What You Will Do:
- Manage the Unit: Lead, train, and audit a virtual team of 3–5 reps.
- Protect the Margin: Ensure the team maintains a floor of 20% close rate as we scale volume.
- Train the guys: Conduct weekly trainings to refine scripts and objection handling.
- Own the CRM: Ensure 100% data integrity and "Speed to Lead" (under 5-minute response).
- Stay in the Trenches: Carry a reduced personal quota to stay sharp and prove the script works. (Open to negotiations)
