Real Estate Administrative Assistant II
Employment Type: Contract through 03/31/2027 (High potential for extension)
Location: Fully Remote (Preference for local candidates, but out-of-state applicants considered)
Job Summary:
CMS Energy is seeking a detail-oriented Real Estate Administrative Assistant II to provide critical administrative support for our Real Estate operations. The ideal candidate will maintain records, prepare correspondence, manage multiple databases, and assist with Right of Way documentation, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain records, standard letters, documents, forms, and multiple databases through data entry, manual filing, and other applications.
- Prepare and utilize basic spreadsheets to support Real Estate efforts.
- Scan documents, upload into LPM, and enter Right of Way information into the ROW database.
- Prepare notification letters and mailing labels.
- Process requests for certificates of insurance and posting of bonds by completing and submitting appropriate forms.
- Prepare and/or send correspondence, fax transmittals, or overnight documents.
- Submit documents for recording to county recorder or clerk offices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of office experience, preferably in the Right of Way/Real Estate industry.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to plan and organize workload, adjust to changing priorities, and work efficiently under supervision.
- Proficient in basic spreadsheets and general office software.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
