SAP Support Specialist

Robert Half is hiring a skilled SAP Public Cloud Support Specialist to assist our client with an ongoing project. In this long-term contract role, you will leverage your expertise to address finance-related support tickets and collaborate with business teams to ensure efficient resolution. This position requires strong communication skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to travel for occasional on-site meetings as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Address finance-related IT support tickets promptly and efficiently.
• Implement and maintain client-side scripting to enhance system functionality.
• Develop and manage Business Requirement Documents to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Oversee configuration management processes to ensure system stability and accuracy.
• Create and integrate APIs to streamline data exchange and communication.
• Support Salesforce development initiatives as needed to enhance operational workflows.
• Provide expertise in public cloud environments to optimize system performance and scalability.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of financial systems experience, with at least 2 years working in SAP.
• Strong proficiency in client-side scripting and API development.
• Experience with creating and managing Business Requirement Documents.
• Solid understanding of configuration management practices.
• Background in Salesforce development and integration.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with business teams.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
