Job Description
Net-New Business Development & Revenue Growth (Primary Focus)
- Proactively target, pursue, and close new national builder agreements, with emphasis on Top 100 national builders.
- Identify and penetrate untapped builder accounts and emerging regional builders.
- Develop and execute strategic account entry plans to secure national product approvals.
- Lead negotiations for national supply contracts, pricing agreements, and multi-year partnerships.
- Drive competitive displacement initiatives to convert builder partners from incumbent brands.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified new business opportunities within Salesforce.
- Meet or exceed aggressive revenue, margin, and market share growth targets.
- Conduct high-impact executive presentations to builder leadership teams.
Strategic Relationship Development
- Establish executive-level relationships with purchasing leaders, category managers, and decision-makers.
- Leverage direct supplier relationships to create brand preference and national specification wins.
- Partner with field sales and regional leadership to ensure successful execution of newly secured agreements.
Contract Negotiation & Commercial Leadership
- Structure, negotiate, and finalize national supply agreements, removing barriers and driving speed to close
- Lead pricing strategy discussions in collaboration with Quotations and Sales Leadership.
- Ensure contracts are competitive, scalable, and aligned with company profitability objectives.
Market Expansion & Industry Presence
- Actively represent Coleto Brands at key industry events including IBS/KBIS, PCBC, SEBC, and other national/regional shows.
- Schedule and conduct high-value prospect meetings at trade shows and targeted events.
- Continuously identify market trends, competitive threats, and emerging opportunities.
Cross-Functional Execution & Launch
- Coordinate national rollouts of newly secured accounts, including accurate forecasting for new business
- Lead internal alignment with Operations, Procurement, and Sales to ensure seamless onboarding.
- Drive new product category placements within newly acquired accounts.
Qualifications
- An Associate or Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience in building products or new residential construction industry is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Demonstrated track record of identifying and closing net-new national accounts.
- Proven success negotiating large-scale supply contracts.
- Strong executive presence and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel nationally.
- Minimum 50% national travel is required.
