Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Field Service Technician to provide expert mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial equipment across multiple customer sites. You will spend your time traveling to different locations to perform your duties, offering hands-on support and ensuring our equipment operates efficiently. If you enjoy working independently and are comfortable with extensive travel, and love making money, this role could be the perfect fit for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel extensively to customer sites to perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on BHS Corrugated machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical components of the corrugator
- Conduct preventive maintenance to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with on-site customer personnel, providing training and guidance on machinery operation.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company standards during maintenance activities.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance, repair activities, and customer interactions.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, with a strong mechanical background.
- Solid understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work autonomously.
- Willingness to travel
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues.
