Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at BAE Systems Inc. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in developing, interpreting, and implementing financial concepts to drive business growth and improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and summarize recommendations for financial plans, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts
- Prepare reports of findings and recommendations to management
- Perform economic research and analysis of financial statements
- Monitor business performance by unit, division, or brand and analyze financial performance, including comparison of actual results against planned results
- Develop, interpret, and implement financial concepts with the help of financial and data analytics tools available
Data Analysis And Reporting
- Maintain and ensure data fidelity and integrity in Alteryx, Power BI, and Tableau monthly reporting database
- Analyze and report data insights using Tableau dashboards
- Collaborate with functional owners and other financial analysts to suggest improvements to data presentation
- Work with the Data Analytics arm to stay up-to-date with the latest technology and bring back insights to the team
Special Projects And Support
- Work on special projects as assigned, including program finance type initiatives on major projects
- Assist with annual budgeting coordination, specifically with Shared Pools
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with Data Warehousing and SQL
- Proficiency in Alteryx, Power BI, and Tableau
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and data analysis
- Experience with financial planning and budgeting
- Strong attention to detail and data integrity
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $82779 - $140723
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
