As we grow rapidly in the U.S. market, we are looking for a highly motivated Marketing Intern to support our digital campaigns and brand presence across Google Ads, SEO, and social media.
Role Description
This is an unpaid internship focused on hands-on learning and real-world marketing experience. The role is structured to provide meaningful exposure to Google Ads, SEO, and social media marketing, with mentorship and portfolio-building opportunities. You will be directly involved in running Google Ads campaigns, building SEO strategies, creating social media content, and supporting global marketing operations.
The role requires about 20 hours/week, with availability during PST working hours.
For outstanding performers, we may provide referrals to major marketing or PR agencies and additional opportunities within SYC or partner companies.

What You‘ll Do
Google Ads / SEO
- Assist with setting up, monitoring, and optimizing Google Ads campaigns
- Build keyword lists, negative keywords, and help refine targeting
- Draft and test ad copy variations
- Review performance metrics (CPC, CTR, ROAS) and prepare simple reports
- Conduct competitor research and identify new marketing opportunities
- Support SEO updates: metadata, alt text, product descriptions, keyword planning
- Propose SEO-driven content ideas and review website performance data
Social Media (Instagram / TikTok / Facebook / LinkedIn)
- Manage and support daily social media operations across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Create and publish posts including: Product features, Artist / customer highlights, and Behind-the-scenes content.
- Write captions and hashtags aligned with SYC’s brand voice
- Help plan and maintain a weekly posting calendar
- Assist with short-form video creation.
- Track engagement metrics and identify what content performs best
- Suggest new content ideas based on trends and performance data
Qualifications
- Must be in Southern California area.
- Currently completing Bachelor’s degree — Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred
- Strong interest in digital marketing, Google Ads, SEO, and social media content
- Familiarity with Google Ads, Meta Ads, or analytics tools is a plus (not required) but willing to learn
- Basic understanding of SEO, keywords, and content structure
- Comfortable creating content for Instagram/TikTok; interest in short-form video is a plus
- Ability to use Canva, Photoshop, or basic video editing tools
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently
- Reliable and organized, with strong communication skills
- Able to commit ~20 hours/week (PST hours preferred)
- Ideal for students or recent graduates seeking real hands-on marketing experience
