Child's Play Wonderschool is seeking to fill the role of a Front Desk Customer Service representative. This role is critical to delivering exceptional parent and visitor experiences at our facility. The ideal candidate will be someone who loves engaging with people, is passionate about creating positive first impressions, and thrives in a fast-paced, children-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome parents, children, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls, provide accurate information when needed.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/delivery updates intelligently.
- Maintain a clean and organized receptionist area, and enforce the health and safety regulations in the reception area.
- Assist parents and visitors with checking in and out, guiding and directing them to their designated areas.
- Resolve complaints or issues promptly and with utmost professional courtesy.
- Manage booking and scheduling for our services, including classes and special events.
- Report any unusual occurrences or requests to the management immediately.
- Cooperate with the rest of the functional teams for the smooth operation of the school premises.
Qualifications
- Experience in a Customer Service or Front Desk role, preferably in a daycare, nursery, or school setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in English.
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening abilities.
- Familiarity with office software (like MS Office, Excel) and office machines (like fax, printer etc.).
- Aptitude for learning about our programs and services in order to accurately respond to parent and visitor inquiries.
- Ability to handle stress and remain calm and composed during busy times.
- High school diploma; additional certification in Office Management or relevant field is a plus.
