We’re looking for a Social Media & Content Manager to fully own social from strategy through execution. You’ll shape the social presence of a fashion-forward brand at the intersection of sports, culture, and style—leading everything from big-picture planning to getting behind the camera, editing content, and engaging with the community in real time.
What You’ll Do
- Lead social strategy across key channels (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, X, Facebook and more), defining channel roles, goals, content pillars, and testing plans.
- Build and manage a content calendar that balances planned launches, campaigns, and cultural/sports moments with agile, real-time content.
- Develop social-first creative concepts and turn them into platform-native posts, short-form video, stories, and series that feel fresh and on-brand.
- Write cool, confident, and approachable copy that keeps a consistent voice across every channel.
- Capture behind-the-scenes and in-the-moment content on set, in office, at events, and around key sports and cultural moments.
- Edit photo and video content with quick turnaround to keep up with social timelines and trends.
- Own day-to-day channel operations: posting, scheduling, optimization, and ensuring best practices across platforms.
- Engage with the community through comments, DMs, and mentions, responding in a way that builds loyalty and protects brand voice.
- Stay ahead of platform changes, trends, and internet culture—especially at the intersection of fashion and sports—and translate them into actionable ideas.
- Monitor performance and report on key metrics (growth, reach, engagement, saves, shares, video performance), turning insights into clear next steps.
- Support creator, influencer, and gifting initiatives, including research, outreach lists, product coordination, content tracking, and amplification of standout UGC.
- Plan and coordinate content days and shoots: creative briefs, shot lists, timelines, talent/vendor coordination, and on-set direction/support.
Who This Role Is Perfect For
This is an ideal fit if you:
- Love social media—both as a creator and a strategist—and are constantly testing new formats, hooks, and ideas.
- Follow sports and sports culture closely and get excited about turning big games, iconic plays, and storylines into compelling social content.
- Care about aesthetics and style, and understand how to make content feel premium while still being native to each platform.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years managing social media for a consumer brand (fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or similar).
- Proven track record growing and engaging audiences through strong creative and consistent execution.
- Deep knowledge of Instagram and TikTok (formats, trends, algorithms, performance levers); familiarity with Pinterest, X, and Facebook is a plus.
- Hands-on content creation experience, including shooting and editing short-form video and basic photo edits.
- Comfort self-shooting content and appearing on camera when needed.
- Excellent organization and project management skills—you can juggle calendars, deadlines, and details without dropping the ball.
- Clear, collaborative communicator who can work closely with marketing and creative partners.
- Genuine interest in sports and culture, with the ability to turn timely moments into relevant, on-brand content.
Bonus Points
- Experience working with creator partnerships, influencer or gifting programs, and UGC workflows.
- Background supporting product drops, launches, or conversion-focused social content.
- Experience working with athletes, leagues, teams, or sports-adjacent communities.
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
