About The Role
We're looking for a
Vice President of Accounting & Finance to lead the finance organization of Grüns as we continue to scale across channels and geographies. This role will oversee our stellar Accounting and FP&A teams through our next phase of massive growth.
This role reports directly to the President and plays a critical role as we expand internationally, deepen our retail footprint, and mature our financial infrastructure.
This role is part of our remote HQ! We operate in a fully remote, high-trust environment and come together quarterly for off-sites to connect IRL.
In this role, you will:
- Provide executive leadership to Grüns' global finance & accounting, ensuring the function scales with precision, discipline, and confidence as the business grows
- Serve as a senior financial partner to the team, leveraging financial insights to inform strategic decisions, investment priorities, and growth plans
- Lead Financing Planning for the organization, translating strategy to financial outcomes, and partnering with all departments to optimize resources & capital allocation
- Own the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of global financial reporting across domestic and international entities, maintaining audit-ready, GAAP-compliant financials at all times
- Oversee and continuously strengthen financial systems and processes, leveraging deep ERP expertise to ensure visibility, control, and scalability across the business
- Guide the financial execution of international expansion, including entity structuring, intercompany frameworks, and local compliance considerations
- Ensure financial rigor across DTC, retail, and international channels, aligning accounting and FP&A practices with how the business actually operates at scale
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting and finance team, setting clear standards, expectations, and operating rhythms that enable excellence
- Partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Retail, and Growth leaders to ensure financial strategy and execution are tightly integrated with day-to-day business realities
We're looking for someone who:
- Has 12+ years of progressive experience across both accounting and finance - We are looking for someone who has spent time in both areas with a slight leaning towards accounting experience
- Has operated in global environments, including setting up international entities and growing into new markets
- Brings significant, hands-on experience working within ERP systems in scaling organizations
- Has experience in businesses where retail is a meaningful channel, alongside DTC or other sales models
- Is comfortable operating in fast-moving environments where systems are evolving and not everything is perfectly documented
- Is a strong people leader and trusted partner to senior leadership

Compensation & Benefits:
At Grüns, we're committed to providing a competitive total compensation package — grounded in market data that considers our size, stage, industry, and location. For this role, the base salary range is between
$225,000-$275,000 depending on experience. Beyond base salary, we offer competitive equity packages and a comprehensive set of benefits designed to support the well-being, growth, and balance of our team.
