Position Overview:
We are seeking candidates to be key members of our Technical and Engineering Services and that enjoy significant customer exposure. You will have the opportunity to work on some of the most pressing challenges the world is facing today, such as clean water and clean emissions.
The candidate will have the opportunity to utilize their mechanical expertise in rotational equipment to field service Turblex/Howden/Siemens single stage turbo blowers:
- Perform maintenance services on blowers according to specifications and internal procedures.
- Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis.
- Install electrical components in control panels.
- Perform adjustments to PLC and HMI software as needed.
- Document in company provided templates the service performed.
- Become a trusted technical advisor for customers by providing superb attention and service.
- Perform work following EHS guidelines.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills
- Knowledge of rotating equipment, electrical motors and electrical panels
- Familiarity with forklift, cranes, general mechanical tools and multi-meter.
- Ability to read and understand drawings and electrical schematics.
- Excellent organization and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and superior technical aptitude.
- Good oral and written communications skills.
- Knowledge of internal components of a turbo blower is a plus.
- Familiarity with Allen Bradley, Siemens, Modicon PLCs and HMIs is a plus.
- Knowledge of flow control valves, dissolved oxygen sensors, air and water oil cooling systems is a plus.
- Knowledge on how to use laser alignment is a plus.
