Responsibilities

- Respond quickly to repair requests from staff or management, prioritizing safety and efficiency
- Install, assemble, or modify fixtures, furniture, and equipment as needed
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts inventory
- Collaborate with vendors or contractors for specialized repairs or upgrades when necessary
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
Requirements
- Proven experience as a maintenance person or in a similar maintenance role with a broad skill set across trades such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
- Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively and implement practical solutions
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues clearly
- Valid driver’s license preferred for off-site repairs or equipment deliveries
- Certifications in relevant trades (e.g., electrician license, plumbing certification) are a plus but not mandatory
