Role Description
The Reddit Community Manager will be part of the *** Social Media team, leading our brand's engagement and presence across Reddit. This role focuses on building authentic relationships with Redditors, from creative professionals and marketing teams to power users and tech enthusiasts, while representing *** in a credible, human way.
You'll be responsible for proactive and reactive engagement: joining discussions in relevant subreddits, supporting conversations about ***, surfacing feedback, and evolving how *** shows up and adds value to users on the platform. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across Communications, Product Marketing, and Customer Support to ensure *** shows up where our users are—listening, responding, and participating in a way that builds trust and delivers value to the community.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in online community management, ideally with a focus on Reddit, forums, or niche online communities for a brand or agency
- Deep understanding of Reddit culture, moderation norms, and etiquette across various subreddits
- Excellent writing skills, with the ability to adjust tone based on context, from technical users to creative professionals
- Experience collaborating with product, support, and communications teams to manage brand presence, draft thoughtful responses, and surface community insights
- Comfortable handling product feedback, technical discussions, and critical commentary with empathy and professionalism
- Familiarity with Reddit analytics, moderation, and listening tools (Reddit Insights, Reddit Pro, Sprinklr, or similar)
