Facilities Maintenance Technician – Manufacturing

Full-Time | $30–$35/hr (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm (OT as needed)

A leading Irvine-based manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their team. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys troubleshooting, maintaining facility systems, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment
Troubleshoot and repair a variety of systems, including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical
Conduct regular inspections to identify safety hazards, maintenance needs, and compliance issues
Handle general building repairs such as carpentry, painting, and minor facility upgrades
Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies; coordinate replenishment as needed
Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage
Respond promptly to emergency repair needs during working hours and occasional OT

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong technical abilities across electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance trades
Proven troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills—able to follow written/verbal instructions and collaborate with teams
Adaptability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
High safety awareness
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional electrical or trade school training a plus
Experience: 5+ years of facility/maintenance experience preferred
