What You’ll Get to Do
As a Facilities Infrastructure Assessor (Healthcare), you will play a critical role in the early stage of project development within the Business Development Team. You will serve as a rapid response resource for client needs, conducting onsite MEP facility assessments to replace aging equipment, developing preliminary budgets and schedules, and supporting capital programming and planning efforts. Your work will provide clients with accurate and timely information to guide budgeting, prioritization, and decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct onsite MEP facility assessments and document existing conditions, deficiencies, and system performance.
- Provide quick turnaround on triage-level requests, including preliminary findings, recommended next steps, and high-level cost and schedule implications.
- Prioritize client requests based on urgency, capital planning needs, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare conceptual estimates, Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) budgets, and detailed take-offs as project scope evolves.
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, and vendor teams to validate pricing and scope.
- Maintain historical cost data to improve estimate accuracy.
- Partner with project managers, engineers, directors, and business development to align assessments with client expectations.
- Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders through concise findings reports and recommendations.
- Support proposal development by preparing scope narratives, budgets, technical exhibits, timelines, and spend plans.
