The Services/Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for providing the technical support and training operations for customers, technicians and sales people. Job duties include but are not limited to monitoring of commissioning, qualification management, monitoring and metrological updating of test equipment.
The Services/Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for providing the technical support and training operations for customers, technicians and sales people. Job duties include but are not limited to monitoring of commissioning, qualification management, monitoring and metrological updating of test equipment.
Main Responsibilities & Tasks:
- Manage the commissioning and qualification of equipment, check the coherence of the elements provided, ensure the feasibility of operations and make these elements available to technicians
- Perform a pre-diagnosis in the event of a breakdown
- Support sales teams in the compilation of pre-sales technical files and the development of a knowledge data base
- Provide help on the possible identification of complex spare parts and be the interface with the factories
- Participate in the development of offers by defining the technical content and provide logistical follow up to facilitate the tasks of the technicians involved
- Estimate the test equipment needs of technicians and ensure the metrological monitoring of these equipment
- Set up, check and follow up on the documents relating to the processes and instructions for the service activity, in collaboration with the technicians and the quality assurance manager
Qualification & Skills:
- Technical degree in electronics, electrotechnics, physical measurements
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a similar role and industry
- High customer orientation
- Skills of transversal animation
- Proven software skills, e.g. Microsoft Office
- Fluent in English

Graduate of a non-science university with technical knowledge gained through work experience
