Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking a Systems Subject Matter Expert to support a federal customer’s depot-level aircraft maintenance environments and Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) operations. You’ll help optimize mission-critical processes, strengthen maintenance readiness, and uphold secure, reliable operations across geographically distributed teams.
In this role, you will lead improvements to MRO workflows and systems, troubleshoot complex maintenance issues, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive measurable efficiency, safety, and availability outcomes for federal aviation assets.
As a Systems Subject Matter Expert, you will:
Oversee and optimize depot-level MRO processes and supporting systems to improve throughput, quality, and compliance
Diagnose and resolve complex aircraft maintenance challenges; implement best practices and continuous improvement methods
Partner with engineers, logisticians, planners, and program leadership to align maintenance execution with mission priorities
Provide hands-on guidance to standardize procedures, documentation, and data integrity across teams
Support change adoption activities and stakeholder engagement; contribute to Organizational Change Management (OCM) tasks as needed
Maintain clear, auditable documentation for processes, configurations, and performance metrics
Full-time (40 hours/week)
Hybrid: Remote with onsite presence up to ~20% at Robins AFB (Warner Robins, GA) or Ogden, UT
Occasional travel to government facilities, as required
U.S. Citizenship required
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 4+ years’ experience with depot airline maintenance or MRO systems
Minimum 4+ years’ industry experience in aircraft maintenance
Demonstrated Advanced experience (7–10 years) with:
Familiarity with Impresa software (helpful)
Familiarity with change management methodologies (helpful)
Advance the readiness and reliability of federal aviation programs
Collaborate with experienced practitioners across maintenance, engineering, and program operations
Contribute to secure, standardized, and scalable solutions that support national priorities
