Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of alarm systems, ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, low voltage wiring, and fire alarm systems, along with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair fire alarms and related equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure proper installation and functionality of alarm systems.
- Design alarm system layouts in accordance with client specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct Annual inspections and certifications.
- Perform field service tasks including troubleshooting and replacement of faulty equipment.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in alarm technology to provide informed recommendations.
Skills
- Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics related to electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge with experience in low voltage wiring .
- Familiarity with construction processes and inspection protocols.
- Experience in field service roles with a focus on alarm systems or similar technologies.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients regarding alarm system sales.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
