Overview
We are looking for a Field Service Technician to join our growing North American team. This is an entry-level, hands-on role ideal for recent graduates from technical programs, trade schools, or individuals with a strong mechanical/electrical aptitude looking to launch or grow their career in the material handling industry.
In this role, you'll be trained to install and maintain ELOKON’s award-winning safety and assistance systems (e.g. proximity warning, fleet management, and speed reduction systems) on forklifts and other material handling equipment across various customer sites. You’ll also provide customer support, assist with system troubleshooting, and gain valuable experience working with advanced industrial technology in a fast-growing international company.
*Please note: this role is remote with extensive travel.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- Graduate of a technical school, trade program, or community college in a relevant field preferred (e.g. mechatronics, industrial maintenance, electronics, etc.)
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Willingness to travel extensively and work independently
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office)
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain a passport
Preferred but not required:
- Previous field service, electrical installation, or material handling experience
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar service software
- Hands-on experience with wiring, schematics, or diagnostic tools
