Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Printer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equipment repair and maintenance, with a focus on printers and related technologies. This role requires a combination of mechanical knowledge, IT skills, and the ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues effectively. The Printer will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of printing equipment and providing excellent service to our clients.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of printers and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment for repairs and installations.
- Read and interpret schematics to assist in diagnosing issues with printing systems.
- Provide field service support, including on-site visits to client locations as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and inventory levels.
- Stay updated on OEM specifications and best practices for printer maintenance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar role involving printer maintenance.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to repair complex equipment.
- Familiarity with computer hardware, networking, and IT systems related to printing technology.
- Experience with software troubleshooting related to printing operations.
- Ability to work independently in the field while managing time effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
