Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage applications through regulatory/contractual processes to secure attachment licenses within established timelines.
- Collaborate with design teams to develop drawings and construction documents related to nodes, power, and outside fiber plant construction.
- Address tactical challenges to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of licenses or service connections, including resolution of violations and NOC tickets.
- Provide timely system updates and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with utilities and act as an interdepartmental liaison.
- Research and advise internal teams on utility attachment requirements, state/federal regulations, and construction codes.
- Participate in district and regional pre-project planning meetings.
- Conduct pole audit data reconciliation.
- Review, analyze, and interpret utility records, creating dashboards and reports to track KPIs and visualize critical data.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on state and federal telecommunications regulations, including FCC Order 18-111.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with fiber companies, telephone or power utilities, joint use matters, engineering, or rights-of-way.
- Experience navigating corporate environments and working within cross-functional groups.
- Strong background in data review, data extraction, and systems experience.
- Knowledge of governing state and federal regulations relevant to telecommunications and utilities.
- Experience in data analysis and data mapping.
- ServiceNow experience is highly desired.
- Wireless industry or relevant military experience preferred.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
