Accounting Manager – The Maestro of Month-End & Client Confidence
📍 Location: Remote – US Based
🧾 Reports To: Owner/Visionary/Resident Nut Job
🔧 Role Type: 80% Tactical, 20% Strategic
About the Role
This isn’t a “stay in the back office and crunch numbers” kind of role. As our Accounting Manager, you’re the head chef of the OTA accounting kitchen. You’ll still be hands-on with the trickier recipes—construction accounting, real estate, complex clean-ups—but your bigger responsibility is making sure the whole kitchen runs smoothly.
That means leading and supporting our team of Accounting Specialists and Senior Specialists, checking the quality of the work before it goes out the door, and making sure clients consistently get the five-star service they deserve. You’ll guide the team, jump in when the work gets complex, and keep everything running efficiently, on time, and with our signature OTA flavor: accurate, approachable, and a dash of fun. (Que the gif of the guy sprinkling salt)
Your mission? Deliver high-quality client work, mentor your team to grow their skills, and help build our reputation as the accounting firm with whom business owners actually enjoy working with.
