We're looking for a Chief of Staff to partner directly with our Founder & CEO, acting as a strategic operator, problem-solver, and force multiplier across the organization. This is a unique opportunity to own critical initiatives, enable faster, smarter decision-making, and help shape the next stage of Tiny Spoon Chef's growth.
What You'll Do
As Chief of Staff, you'll sit at the intersection of strategy, operations, and execution, enabling the CEO and leadership team to focus on what matters most while ensuring the company runs smoothly and scales intelligently. You'll act as a connector between teams, an accelerator for decision-making, and a catalyst for growth.
Strategic & Operational Leadership
- Executive Support & Decision Enablement
- Act as a thought partner to the CEO and leadership team
- Prepare briefings, dashboards, and executive insights
- Prioritize and triage meetings, requests, and strategic initiatives
- Project Management & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Lead 2-3 high-impact initiatives at any given time (e.g., partnerships, process redesign, new market launches)
- Own OKR tracking and drive accountability across teams
- Proactively resolve blockers and streamline execution across departments
- People Development & Talent Systems
- Build mentoring and coaching frameworks between junior, mid-level, and senior leaders
- Help employees find training and development opportunities internally and externally
- Organize management offsites, 1:1 cadences, and performance reviews
Analytics, Finance & Tech Enablement
- Business Analytics & Reporting
- Build and manage dashboards across HubSpot, Asana, Google Suite, and QuickBooks
- Analyze trends in sales, marketing funnels, and customer engagement
- Turn data into actionable insights for executive decision-making
- Budgeting & Financial Operations
- Partner with finance to track budget vs. actuals and manage burn
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and new revenue streams
- Support financial modeling for strategic decisions
- Tech & Systems Infrastructure
- Implement and optimize tools and systems to drive efficiency and scalability
- Standardize workflows so the company operates as a unified system
- Utilize Hubspot, Google Suite, Asana, Kixie, Workable and iOS
- Leverage AI to streamline scaling with a lean administrative team
High-Leverage, Startup-Specific Activities
- Culture & Internal Communications
- Lead all-hands meetings, internal updates, and employee engagement efforts
- Act as the "voice of clarity" when things get messy or ambiguous
- Founder's Proxy
- Represent the Founder/CEO in meetings, with partners, and on high-stakes initiatives
- Draft memos, lead external communications, and deliver key presentations
- Ad Hoc Special Projects
- Launch pilots, new verticals, or business lines
- Lead strategic research, competitive intelligence, or M&A due diligence
- Step in as an interim leader for underperforming or unfilled roles
Requirements
- 5-8+ years of experience in management consulting, operations, strategy, or Chief of Staff roles at high-growth startups
- Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and structured communication skills
- Highly analytical and comfortable with data-driven decision-making
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and managing complex projects
- A builder's mindset — thrives in ambiguity, creates order from chaos, and scales systems that last
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to influence without authority
Bonus: Experience in hospitality, tech platforms, or marketplace businesses.

Salary: $125K + performance based bonus
